The Materials Science program regularly schedules events outside of the classroom and the lab. There are a multitude of activities and events to enjoy in Corvallis and the surrounding areas, and past gatherings have included BBQs, OSU sporting events, bowling nights, and trips to the Oregon coast. Weekly seminars are held each Thursday of the term at 3:00pm in Covell 117 (the MIME Library) on a wide variety of Materials-related topics. The seminars page has a complete listing of upcoming and past seminars.
