Flexible Thin Film Transistor Technologies

Active flexible electronics is of great interest for a variety of applications including displays, SmartCards, RFID, structural/personal health monitoring, and many others. Several technical and commercial barriers prevent the wide scale implementation of active flexible electronics. This presentation will describe methods to overcome distortion compensation on flexible substrates and key semiconductor technologies currently being evaluated for a variety of applications. Finally, an overview of potential opportunities will be presented.
